a) RSO for NABARD
CRD is the Resource Support Organization for NABARD for its Holistic Watershed Development Projects in Kasaragod DT. This 3-5 year project covers 35 Watersheds spread across Manjeshwaram, Karadka, Kasaragod, Parappa and Nileshwaram Blocks of the District, covering a total area of 30351 Ha in 22 Grama Panchayats

b) Technical Support Organisation (TSO) for the implementation of Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP)
CRD is the approved TSO for Block Panchayats (PIAs) for the implementation of IWMP projects. Parappa and Karadka Block Panchayats, the PIAs for IWMP Cluster Watershed Projects has selected and appointed CRD as TSO.

The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for these 5 Projects had been successfully prepared and got approved.
Following are the major functions of CRD as Technical Support Institute.
- Provide technical support for Capacity Building, base line survey, PRA, social mobilization, procurement, processing and analysis of data, map, etc that will be required for preparation of Detailed Project Report
- Technical Support for conducting monitoring and evaluation studies, identification of entry point activities, support PIAs to prepare Detailed Project Preparation and
- Provide Technical Support for the implementation of the DPR as per the Common Guidelines for Watershed Projects issued by Govt. of India
